Well, we have arrived in Amsterdam tonight at 11PM where we will be leaving for our plane ride home tomorrow after breakfast. Today it snowed all day. The Amsterdam airport apparently closed due to a huge snowstorm there and many flights were cancelled or delayed. We were worried about spending lots of time in the airport tomorrow, also so when we had the chance we were able to upgrade our seats to business class. That way if there is a long delay we can at least wait in the KLM lounge and will have someplace to sit, have snacks, and use the toilet for free.
On our way here we stopped to visit some windmills at the small town of Kinderjynk. I forgot how tiny they were on the inside, but still cozy. That was our last stop for the cruise. Nothing much else to report. We are still packing.. hope everything fits and we are not overweight. At least now with the upgrade we can have a bit more weight. As we pack we are watching "We Bought a Zoo" on the TV. Dad is passed out on the bed, and he is not quite finished packing either. It`s 1.30 am, so I`m signing off and going to finish packing. Bags have to be out in front of cabin by 8.30 and we leave for the airport at 10.30. Our plane leaves at 1.30, if all goes well, and we`ll see what happens form there.
